Import existing farm records
Validate spreadsheet rows before committing animals, health events, or inventory items.

Animals has an import for animal registration data such as tags, species, and sex. Health imports animal tags, dates, and event types. Inventory imports item codes, names, categories, and units. Milk has its own daily-capture template and overwrite behavior. Payroll also offers attendance import.
Review before committing
- Open the import from the relevant module. Download its .xlsx or .csv template and follow the displayed column requirements.
- Upload the spreadsheet and wait for validation.
- Review row errors, identifiers, dates, and quantities. Fix the source file or the reported issue before proceeding.
- Choose Commit import for the validated records.
- Check the result and the destination module. If processing fails, inspect the error and use Retry where offered.
Undo an eligible import
Use the import’s reversal action where supported and permitted. Eligibility depends on the records and their later use. Do not re-upload a committed file as a way to undo it. Milk imports use different replacement rules; read the milk import guide first.
