Set up your farm

Create your workspace and put the essentials in place before recording the day’s work.

Create or join a workspace

Sign in to MilkSage. If you have an invitation, open its link and join the existing farm.
To create a farm, enter its name, time zone, and base currency in the farm setup form.
After entering the workspace, check the farm name in the top bar. Use the farm switcher when you work with more than one farm.

Before you continue

Operational dates use the farm’s time zone. Check the active farm before adding or importing records.

In Settings, review the Farm details and the Operations, Milk, and Inventory defaults.
Create Herds & pens, then register your animals and place them in the right groups.
Add inventory items and opening stock before recording feed, medicine, or semen consumption.
Set up Accounts and accounting periods before posting transactions, milk sales, or payroll.
Invite your team and review their permissions. Start with the Overview to see the day’s work.

Group animals for management and track their physical placement.

Build an animal’s identity, placement, and lifetime record.

Add members and control the actions each role can perform.
